WE MIGHT RUN DOWN TO A FEW OF THE MOUNTAIN FURNITURE STORES IN SEVIERVILLE, PIGEON FORGE, OR GATLINBURG LATER THIS AFTERNOON JUST TO VIEW SOME CHANGE OUT OPTIONS. WHAT DO YOU THINK? THANK GOODNESS FOR GRANITE AND TILE; I DON’T THINK ANYTHING ELSE WOULD HOLD UP TO THE GRAND’S PUNISHMENT OF FLOORS AND COUNTER TOPS.

    I WISH THE FAMILY COULD SPEND MORE TIME AROUND CHRISTMAS. THEY LOVE HELPING WITH THE WOOD FOR THE FIREPLACE AND VERMONT CASTING WOOD STOVE. THAT STOVE SURE WARMS UP FEET AND PUTS YOU TO SLEEP ON A COLD WINTER’S DAY. ALL THE STONE (ENTRY COLUMNS AND FIREPLACE) – MAYBE THAT’S WHY THEY CALL THIS PLACE THE “MOUNTAIN CASTLE.” THANK GOODNESS FOR “WINTER FEST.” THE KIDS AND GRANDS JUST CAN’T BELIEVE THERE CAN BE SO MUCH “CHRISTMAS” IN ONE PLACE! OTHERWISE, WE’D HAVE TO DO MUCH MORE DECORATING FOR SURE… I THINK THE GRAND’S HAVE DISCOVERED SANTA’S “SECRET” CLOSET IN THE REAR OF YOUR “WINDING PANTRY,” TOO! OH WELL, THEY’RE GROWING UP.

    I’M GLAD WE DECIDED TO GIVE EACH BEDROOM ITS OWN PRIVATE BATH. THEY LOVE THEIR PRIVACY WHEN THEY’RE HERE. OF COURSE THE HALF BATH BETWEEN THE SITTING ROOM/FOYER AND THE KITCHEN SAVED THE DAY MANY TIMES, TOO. NOT TO MENTION, THE LAUNDRY ROOM BEING ON THE MAIN FLOOR BY THE GARAGE MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE WITH DIRTY, FISHY, CLOTHES AND SHOES. THOSE KIDS AND ME! HA HA 

    YOU KNOW, I WISH WE COULD BE IN TWO PLACES AT ONCE. I WISH WE COULD REPLACE THIS PLACE FOR WHAT WE’RE ASKING. I DON’T THINK THAT IS GOING TO BE POSSIBLE. CALIFORNIA JUST DOESN’T GIVE YOU OVER FOUR THOUSAND SQUARE FEET OF LIVING SPACE, GRANITE COUNTER TOPS, FULL APPLIANCE PACKAGE WITH STAINLESS STEEL APPLIANCES IN THE KITCHEN, “THOMASVILLE” CHERRY CABINETRY, BUILT IN BOSE SPEAKERS, SUPER SIZED TILED OPEN SHOWER, OVERSIZED WHIRLPOOL JETTED TUB, WALK IN CLOSETS; NOT TO MENTION THE BOAT DOCK AND MOUNTAIN VIEWS.
